Peregrine Team is hiring for Staff Accountant in Irvine, CA. This position is a full-time, contract-to-hire role with full benefits and competitive pay.
$35 - $50/hour
Job Duties:
- Manage accounts payable processes and reporting, including month-end close and vendor relations
- Lead AP improvements, backlog reduction, and GRIR clearing
- Support general accounting tasks, including capital projects and internal reporting
- Assist with fixed asset tracking and inventory
- Coordinate banking activities and general ledger consolidation
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and process standards
- Provide support for employee reimbursements, PCARD, and tax-related matters
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Proficient in SAP (FICO, PS) and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to communicate effectively across teams
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and adaptable
