What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tennis Professional position at Peregrine Hospitality?
SALARY RANGE - This position pays Minimum Wage $16.90/hour, plus commission. The Tennis Professional supports and works closely with the Director Tennis to oversee all aspects of the tennis & pickleball programs along with the GTS camps. Teaches lessons, promotes, and assists in the implementation of the tennis programs.
Essential Functions

- Must actively participate in team member referral program and be a Talent Ambassador for Silverado
- Must participate in all resort required meetings and
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform/business attire and nametag.
- Instruct tennis at varying levels and ages in a progressive and educational
- Assist Director of Tennis with scheduling private and group lessons, charge and collect fees, execute the policies and regulations of the tennis related activities at the resort.
- Contribute in the creation of new concepts for various tennis events and orchestrates the communication promotion and execution of these events.
- Oversee court reservation program to ensure equitable and amenable allocation of court usage for members guests tournaments lessons and other events.
- Encourage Member participation in tennis
- Assist the Director of Tennis in additional program areas as
- Abide by all resort policies and safety
- Perform other duties as requested by
Qualifications
- Proven experience working as a tennis coach or
- Sound knowledge of various coaching
- CPR & First Aid Certifications are
- Must be able to motivate
Work Conditions and Schedule
- Flexible and long hours sometimes
- Medium work - Exerting up to 30 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
- Must be able to stand and work for extended periods of
- Must be able to bend, stoop or reach as
- Must be able to work in an outdoor environment with varying temperatures, including temperatures above 100° F.
- Physical exertion (jogging, running, bending, twisting).
