Regional IT Technician

SALARY RANGE $68,000 - $70,597. The Regional IT Technician provides day-to-day technical support for Silverado Resort & Spa, Hotel Yountville, and Bardessono Hotel. This position is responsible for maintaining computer systems, network equipment, hotel technology, and end-user devices while delivering timely support to all departments. The technician will work closely with the Regional Director of IT to ensure technology remains reliable across all three properties and assist with projects, upgrades, and new technology deployments.

Essential Functions

• Provide onsite and remote technical support for all hotel departments.
• Respond to help desk tickets and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other hardware.
• Create and manage user accounts in Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
• Set up new employees with computers, phones, email, and required software.
• Troubleshoot Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and Office applications.
• Support hospitality applications including PMS, POS, key card systems, phone systems, conference room technology, and other hotel software.
• Troubleshoot wired and wireless network connectivity issues.
• Install and replace network switches, wireless access points, patch cables, and other network hardware when needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance on computers, network equipment, and server room hardware.
• Assist with Windows updates, software deployments, and hardware refresh projects.
• Work with third-party vendors to troubleshoot software, hardware, internet, and phone system issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and update tickets with detailed notes.
• Follow company IT policies, security standards, and documentation procedures.
• Travel regularly between Silverado Resort, Hotel Yountville, and Bardessono Hotel.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of IT support experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows operating systems and PC hardware.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and Office applications.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPNs, and basic networking concepts.
• Experience supporting printers, scanners, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server and virtualization is a plus.
• Experience working with hospitality technology is preferred but not required.
• Experience with endpoint management tools and remote support software is preferred.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while working independently.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working in guest-facing environments while maintaining a professional appearance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in ceilings, network closets, and server rooms.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
• Must be 18 to operate a golf cart.

Working Conditions and Schedule

• Long hours are sometimes required.
• Medium work – Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
• Must be able to sit/stand at a desk for up to 7 hours per day. Walking and standing are required the rest of the working day. Length of time of these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task.
• Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
• The role requires driving a golf cart.
