Multisite Property Manager - Startup

We're currently seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee a growing scattered-site portfolio based out of Hingham, MA, with properties across the greater Boston area.

This role is built for an operator, not an administrator. You’ll have real ownership from day one, managing performance across multiple locations, coordinating turns and vendors, and driving leasing and collections with strong support already in place, including dedicated property coordinators and construction resources. If you enjoy being in the field, solving problems quickly, and improving Class C assets into stronger Class B communities, this is a high-impact opportunity with a clear runway for growth.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations for a scattered-site portfolio of small-to mid-sized communities across a defined geographic zone
• Drive leasing and collections performance, ensuring consistent follow-through and accountability across the portfolio
• Manage unit turns, inspections, work orders, and vendor coordination with a hands-on, field-forward approach
• Lead and develop a small onsite/field team, including maintenance and operational support staff
• Partner with internal support resources to execute operational improvements and light-to-moderate renovation activity tied to acquisitions and repositioning

Qualifications

• 4 years of property management experience, ideally with Class B/C assets (not solely affordable housing)
• Prior experience managing scattered-site or multi-property portfolios across a meaningful geographic radius
• Experience directly supervising at least one team member
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and comfortable traveling roughly 40-50% of the time
• Experience with AppFolio preferred and interest in using modern tools (including AI) to run an efficient day-to-day workflow
