ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Create a memorable experience for guests through food and drink suggestions, prompt and accurate service and a great attitude
MUST have Alcohol Service Certification
Answers all menu and service-related questions with accuracy, professionalism, and confidence
Set up bar, execute prep work, and tear down bar at end of shift
Extensive cocktail, beer, and wine knowledge and follows all recipes precisely
Constantly monitor and maintain food and drink standards for recipe production, appearance, correctness, quality, and safety
Process accurate cash and credit card transactions with point-of-sale system
Handle guest concerns by listening; informing a manager; and helping to resolve issues
Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation, including bar stools, high tops and surrounding floors
Communicate with servers and managers regarding availability of seating and special requests
Constantly move behind the bar and throughout the kitchen and restaurant
Assist with every facet of restaurant front of the house procedures as needed to ensure an outstanding guest experience
Assist with bussing and resetting tables according to our standards as needed
Assist bar-back as needed
Operate a variety of kitchen equipment and tools
Support team members including leadership
Execute effective communication skills
Exude positive attitude under stress
Contribute to a fun and professional work environment
Ability to execute follow-through
