Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Coatings Superintendent based in Jacksonville, FL. The Coatings Superintendent will oversee daily operations of coating projects, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to project timelines. Responsibilities include but not limited to coordinating materials, managing work crews, maintaining compliance with client specifications, and overseeing site safety protocols. The Superintendent will also review project progress, address challenges, and ensure efficient communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated successful large scale projects with expertise in coatings application, including but not limited to painting, resinous flooring, and waterproofing
- Strong project leadership skills, including task scheduling, resource allocation, and timeline management
- Familiarity with safety regulations and ability to ensure compliance with all health and safety protocols
- Proficiency in problem-solving, communication, and team leadership
- Experience with equipment and application of Commercial Paint, Fireproofing, Waterproofing, High Performance Coatings, Resinous Flooring, Joint Sealants is a plus
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications
- Relevant certifications or training in coatings, construction safety, or project management are beneficial
- Willingness to work on-site and lead and train team members in a dynamic project environment
- Able to use a tablet and familiarity with construction management software
