Continuous Improvement Manager

Continuous Improvement Manager role open with a stable, privately held manufacturer in Brownsville, TN. In this role, you'll lead the buildout and implementation of a lean program starting at one of the company's largest and most complex facilities, with responsibility expanding to additional sites over time. The ideal candidate is a hands-on lean practitioner who has implemented lean principles inside a plant, thrives with autonomy, and wants the creative freedom to build a system that's tailored to the business rather than pulled off the shelf.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in manufacturing in a lean or continuous improvement role
• Must have direct, hands-on experience implementing lean inside a plant environment
• Six Sigma Green Belt minimum; lean certification (Bronze or Silver) preferred
• Comfortable working independently — this role operates with a high degree of autonomy and no on-site direct reports
• Strong facilitation, coaching, and influencing skills
• Multi-site or program-level CI experience a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred; other backgrounds considered
• Ability to travel up to 40%

Role

• Implement and establish lean foundations at the Tennessee facility before expanding the program across North American plants
• Lead hands-on process improvement initiatives on the production floor — kaizen events, waste identification, and workflow optimization
• Develop a customized lean approach that fits the operation, using tools and methodologies you know work
• Evaluate and incorporate new CI technologies and tools as the program evolves
• Track and report lean maturity KPIs by site, including productivity improvements and cost reduction
• Build training programs and coach plant supervisors and operations leaders in lean principles and CI techniques
• Lead the North American Lean Steering Council as the program scales across facilities
