Site Supervisor

Summary 
Per Sé Group is working with a leading Lexington commercial general contractor in need of a Site Supervisor. The ideal candidate specializes in ground-up, commercial construction projects with project budgets of $2M - $10M. 

Job Description:

As a Construction Site Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects by overseeing on-site operations, managing personnel, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. On-Site Management:
2. Supervise all on-site activities, including construction progress, material deliveries, and equipment usage.
3. Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to project specifications.
4. Monitor daily work activities and address any issues or concerns that may arise during construction.

5. Personnel Supervision:
6. Lead and direct on-site personnel, including construction workers, subcontractors, and laborers.
7. Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on project requirements and individual capabilities.
8. Provide guidance and training to ensure that work is performed safely and efficiently.

9. Quality Control:
10. Conduct regular inspections of workmanship and materials to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
11. Identify and address any deficiencies or deviations from quality standards promptly.
12. Implement corrective actions as needed to maintain project quality and client satisfaction.

13. Safety Management:
14. Enforce safety protocols and ensure that all personnel adhere to OSHA regulations and company policies.
15. Conduct safety meetings and toolbox talks to communicate hazards and promote a culture of safety on the construction site.
16. Investigate accidents or incidents and implement preventive measures to mitigate future risks.

17. Communication and Reporting:
18. Serve as the primary point of contact between on-site personnel and project management.
19. Provide regular progress updates and reports to the Project Manager, highlighting achievements, challenges, and milestones.
20. Communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Construction Site Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
• Proficient in reading construction plans and specifications.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification (preferred).
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
