What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Project Manager | Four years. One critical asset. Your leadership. position at Per Sé Group?
Some projects are measured by square footage. Others by megawatts. This one is measured by how safely and reliably a hydroelectric dam performs for years to come.
If you've led complex construction or major maintenance projects where safety, engineering, contractors, and regulators all have a seat at the table, this is the kind of assignment that puts your experience to work.
Per Sé Group is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead a major hydroelectric dam maintenance project in Wisconsin, from planning through execution and closeout.
What you'll take ownership of:
- Lead a complex hydroelectric dam maintenance project, keeping scope, schedule, budget, and risk under control.
- Coordinate engineers, construction teams, contractors, consultants, and regulatory stakeholders.
- Manage construction and maintenance contracts, contractor performance, and project deliverables.
- Navigate FERC requirements and regulatory reviews while maintaining accurate project documentation.
- Identify risks early, resolve execution challenges, and keep critical milestones moving.
- Oversee safe construction execution, quality expectations, and operational readiness.
- Drive project closeout, including documentation, financial completion, and handoff to operations.
Here's what makes this opportunity worth a conversation:
- $75–$85/hour, with PTO/holiday pay eligibility.
- Long-term project visibility, with work currently scheduled through November 2030.
- 40-hour workweek, based out of Madison with frequent travel to the Prairie du Sac project site.
- The opportunity to lead work on critical hydroelectric infrastructure with lasting operational impact.
- Significant ownership, cross-functional leadership, and exposure to complex regulated construction.
You'll feel at home here if you've spent 9 years leading large, complex projects and know what it takes to manage contractors, control costs, protect schedules, and make decisions when conditions change.
A PMP certification is required. Experience in dam rehabilitation, marine/heavy civil construction, power generation, or similarly complex infrastructure is especially valuable. FERC knowledge, engineering credentials, and dam safety experience are advantages.
