PT Security Officer

Per Mar Security is seeking a part-time, weekend security officer in Marquette, IA. Hours are 6:00 am to 6:00 pm Saturday's and Sunday's.

24 hours per week at $15.75 hr.

Attention: As a condition of employment, you will be required to travel to our branch office in Cedar Rapids for orientation, drug screening, and/or training.

Qualifications:

• 18 years or older
• Have a valid driver's license, with a driving record that does not fall outside of company guidelines.
• The ability to obtain a security license for the State of Iowa, with no disqualifying criminal convictions. We assist those that qualify.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Have the physical capacity to stand or walk over extended periods.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform access control to the facility via doors and gates
• Conduct scheduled rounds to ensure doors/windows/gates are properly secure.
• Report any suspected criminal activity to the proper authorities.
