Part-time Gate Security Officer (QC SO)

Per Mar Security Services is hiring for a security/gate attendant in Muscatine, Iowa.

This is a 2nd shift position: 2:00 pm - 8:30 pm Sunday; 2:00 pm - 9:30 pm Mon/Tues/Wed. Approximately 30 hours a week at $19.00 per hour.

Job Description:

• Greet guests as they come into the pick-up area and direct them where to locate their purchases if necessary.
• Confirm guests have the correct items and amounts purchased upon exiting.
• At close of business, conduct a security round of the pick-up yard.
• Stay in radio communication with store employees and management.
• Request assistance with issues that arise beyond the scope of your duties.  

Qualifications:

• Must be minimum 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation to travel to and from the job site on time to begin shift.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Be eligible for security licensing through the State of Iowa, with no disqualifying convictions on a background screen. We assist those that qualify.
• A work history with customer service experience is preferred.  

*Upon hire, must agree to travel to our office in Davenport, Iowa to complete a one-day orientation and training.
