What are the responsibilities and job description for the Brand Content Intern position at Per Diem?
Per Diem is a YC-backed, AI-powered growth platform built for cafés, bakeries, and restaurant brands. In partnership with Square, we help merchants launch branded mobile apps, loyalty programs, ordering experiences, and automated marketing tools that drive repeat business and customer engagement.
Today, over 500 brands including Oakberry, Think Coffee, Crema Gourmet, and more use Per Diem to power direct customer relationships without relying on third-party marketplaces.
We’re a fast-growing startup based in NYC, growing over 200% YoY, profitable, and rapidly expanding into larger restaurant and franchise groups across the country.
We’re looking for a creative, hungry, and social-media-obsessed Brand Marketing Intern to help tell the story of Per Diem and the incredible cafés, bakeries, and restaurants we work with.
This is not a “sit in meetings and make spreadsheets” internship.
You’ll spend time visiting coffee shops and restaurant partners, capturing content, filming TikToks/Reels, interviewing founders and baristas, jumping on trends, helping with launches, and creating content that reaches thousands of restaurant operators and consumers.
You’ll work directly with the founders and marketing team at the ground floor of a fast-paced, high-growth startup with significant room to grow into a full-time role if successful.
This is a hybrid role based in the New York City Metropolitan Area with flexibility for remote work.
