Embroidery Trimmer – Job Description
Location: Cedar Hill, TX / Garland, TX (or update as needed)

Reports To: Embroidery Lead / Embroidery Manager
Summary / Objective
The Embroidery Trimmer is responsible for finishing embroidered garments by cutting loose threads, removing excess backing, inspecting quality, and preparing items for the next stage of production. This role helps ensure high-quality standards and a clean, professional appearance on all embroidered products.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Trim and remove all loose threads from embroidered garments.
- Remove excess stabilizer/backing from inside and outside of garments.
- Inspect each item for defects, thread breaks, missed stitches, or quality issues.
- Ensure the embroidery meets company standards before passing to folding, packaging, or shipping.
- Follow production work orders accurately and maintain job sequence.
- Work with Embroidery Operators to ensure garments are prepared and finished on time.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Notify the Lead or Manager of any recurring embroidery issues.
- Assist with counting, stacking, or packaging as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and production procedures.

Required Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous embroidery or garment production experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive hand movements.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Frequent standing, bending, reaching, and repetitive trimming motions.
- Ability to visually inspect small details and work with small hand tools (scissors, snips).
Work Hours
Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (In person)
Occasional Saturdays and/or overtime as needed.
Background check and e-Verify will be conducted prior to onboarding
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
