POSITION SUMMARY
Deliver and pick up equipment to and from customers.
Deliver and pick up equipment to and from customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver equipment to new customers.
- Replace old equipment for customers.
- Pick up machines from business that are not our customers anymore.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work well with others in a team-orientated atmosphere.
- Other related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- 18 years or older
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- Insurable driving record (up to 10 years preferred)
- Will require a DOT medical card (can be achieved on-site)
- Must be able to read, write, and perform basic math
- Must possess thorough understanding of MEM process and procedures
ABILITIES
- Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
- Review and adhere to all Pee Dee Food Service policies, including safety.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and multi-tasking skills.
- Must be self-motivated and can work with minimal supervision.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Must be physically and mentally able to successfully perform the essential elements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
- The ability to hear, talk, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds.
- Vision requirements to do this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- This is a two or more employee job.
- Requires heavy lifting most of the time.
- Constantly required to stand, walk, and sit.
- Must be able to climb into and out of truck throughout the shift (8-10 hours per day).
- Must frequently lift, push and pull up to 800 pounds using lift gate, pallet jack, delivery sled, hand trucks and other manually operated equipment.
- While performing the duties of the job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical equipment, outside weather conditions, and high, precarious place.
