We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective merchandising strategies that enhance product visibility and drive sales. This role requires a strong understanding of retail math, inventory management, and customer service to ensure that our products are presented in an appealing manner that resonates with our target audience.
Duties
- Design and implement attractive product displays that align with brand standards and customer preferences.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock to maintain optimal product availability.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop promotional strategies that drive sales and enhance customer engagement.
- Conduct regular assessments of product placement and pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with inquiries and offering guidance on product selections.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales performance, and merchandising effectiveness.
Must have valid driver's license and negative drug test. Will drive company vehicle to various grocery stores to stock displays, shelves, coolers with soft drinks. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull up to 1000 lbs using a dolly/cart. Will kneel, squat, and reach above shoulder level to stock the displays/shelves. Will work 5 days per week on a rotating shift with different days off each week.
Qualifications:Previous experience a plus.
