Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and efficiency
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Assist with food handling, sanitation, and food preparation to uphold safety regulations and cleanliness standards
- Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with accuracy and integrity
- Support kitchen staff by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with host/hostess duties when needed
Experience
- Previous restaurant experience in fine dining or food service environments preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in nightclubs or bustling venues is a plus for energetic environments
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining a positive attitude
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and order accuracy
