Hostess/Cashier

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and seamless dining experience. You will manage guest seating, take orders, and handle transactions with accuracy and professionalism. Your exceptional customer service skills will contribute to creating a positive atmosphere for our patrons.

Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage the seating process efficiently.
- Utilize POS systems, including Aloha POS, to take orders and process payments accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area to enhance the guest experience.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Assist in managing reservations and waitlists effectively.
- Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Uphold high standards of guest relations and hospitality throughout each shift.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing information about menu items and restaurant services.

Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Familiarity with food service operations is an advantage.
- Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience with POS systems is beneficial; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
