A Day In The Life Of
💼 What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading the comprehensive preventive care appointment focused on oral and periodontal health, dental prophylaxis and periodontal therapy, oral cancer screening, advanced diagnostic imaging, patient education, and preventive oral treatments.
- Deliver comprehensive preventive care appointments, including dental prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, oral health assessments, and diagnostic imaging (radiographs and advanced imaging
- Educate and engage patients on oral health, home care, and long-term disease prevention
- Provide fluoride therapy and adjunctive preventive treatments as part of each patient’s individualized needs
- Maintain accurate, detailed documentation in patient records
- Collaborate closely with doctors and broader team members to support comprehensive and patient-centered care
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols in alignment with and surpass OSHA and HIPAA standards
- Ensure proper instrument sterilization and operatory readiness
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous personal and professional growth, with accountability and a focus on building strong relationships with patients and team members
What You'll Bring To The Table

Education and Experience:
- Associate degree or the successful completion of a recognized vocational program in dental hygiene.State license required.
