The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for managing front desk activities and supervising personnel. Ensures outstanding guest experiences and optimizes hotel revenue.
Duties:
Understand guest and employee needs and handle all situations calmly and professionally.
Partner with other departments to meet guest expectations and special requests (reservations, bell desk, housekeeping, information desk, concierge).
Supervise, evaluate, coach, counsel and provide situational retraining of Front Desk staff.
Evaluate same day selling strategies.
Maintain and manage daily inventory.
Execute all shift reports.
Maximize revenue by promoting suite upgrades and maintaining rate integrity.
Maintain a ticket bank and keep proper inventory of all tickets and logs.
Assist with the check-in line as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or G.E.D.
Minimum of one-year Front Desk experience, preferably in a resort setting.
Two or more years of customer service required.
Able to effectively communicate with entire staff.
Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Salary : $38,000 - $49,000
