What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pool Bartender position at Peppermill Resort Spa Casino?
Duties:
- Sincerely greets each guest.
- Makes eye contact with guest.
- Knows the script and hours/days of operation.
- Completes pre, running, and post shift side work requirements.
- Ability to prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic beverages accurately and quickly.
- Knowledge of drink pricing including tier levels.
- Knowledge of Mixology.
- Ability to exercise good judgment in determining potentially intoxicated guests.
- Understanding of the tending functions of the POS system.
- Knowledge of all coupons and specials, including comp rules for player card levels.
- Continuously maintains a neat, clean, organized, safe, and comfortable. environment for our guests and Team members.
- Ability to use a calculator and balance a bank with a high level of accuracy.
- Genuinely thank the Guest.
- Adheres to appearance and uniform standards.
- Adheres to all internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Minimum one-year previous bartending experience is preferred.
- Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift.
- Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner.
- Must possess excellent customer relations and communication skills.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must be able to repeatedly lift 25 lbs to chest.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to speak and understand English.
