The Gift Shop Sales Associate is responsible for assisting in merchandise sales and providing outstanding customer service while ensuring that every customer feels welcome at the store.

- Actively engage customers in conversation.
- Assist in understanding, demonstration, description, and selection of merchandise.
- Utilize a working knowledge of all retail merchandise including price, any special product, stock location in store and back stockroom.
- Process transactions quickly and accurately.
- Accurately execute any merchandise returns and/or exchanges.
- Ensure store appearance remains neat and organized.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to obtain an Alcohol Awareness license.
- Minimum six months’ experience in a retail/customer service environment required.
- Working knowledge of cashiering and receipt processing.
- Able to bend and walk for long periods of time and lift up to 15 lbs.
- Able to speak, read and write in English.
