2nd Shift

Hours: 2:45pm-11:15pm

Overtime required based on production need.

Pay: $18.50/hour

GUARANTEED $0.50 RAISE AFTER 90 DAYS.

Summary Assists the machine operator by coordinating on production needs, relieving for breaks, and

training and managing other packers on the line.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Coordinates with the operator to see what products are running, set boxes, and setting up lines.
  • Manage packers on the line while also working the line.
  • Teach new packers.
  • Help other packers complete shops for the day.
  • Perform and complete LUV label returns and teach new packers how to use the system
  • Assist other packers with issues in Pallet Tracking.
  • Operate a pallet jack and train new employees on how to use it.
  • Know how to work the machine and run it when the operator is gone and/or to help rotate for

breaks and lunches if needed.

of work when necessary to reach goals, completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person

Requirements

Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write

simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group

situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common

fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or

diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized

situations.

Computer Skills

Must have basic knowledge of computers and the ability to input data into the computer.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to physically perform the

following:

  • 25-50 pounds 150-300 times during the shift
  • Stand and/or walk for the duration of the shift
  • Use hands to finger, grip, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
  • Talk and hear
  • Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust

focus
