This position requires expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and proficiency with Autodesk software, such as Revit and Navisworks. You will be responsible for managing MEP scopes, bid processes, 3D coordination, installation oversight, and start-up. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders to deliver high-quality projects.

Major Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee MEP design coordination using Autodesk tools, including Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to resolve clashes and ensure optimal system integration.
- Develop and maintain project schedules for MEP systems.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Conduct clash detection and resolution to optimize MEP layouts.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, codes, and specifications in all MEP designs.
- Facilitate regular coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on MEP and BIM-related issues.
- Prepare and maintain accurate models, drawings, and project documentation.
- Create visual presentations and reports for stakeholders as needed.
- Create a detailed scope sheet for MEP systems that outlines project scope, deliverables, and trade responsibilities.
- Compile Bid Matrices and confirm complete coordination between trades
- Prepare GMP pricing and design build budgets as needed
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years in MEP coordination with a strong focus on BIM.
- Proven track record of managing MEP systems for large-scale construction projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of BIM 360, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and other collaboration tools is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Able to travel within the Chicagoland area and occasionally to neighboring states, with most nights spent at home.
