The Draught Line Technician role handles the cleanliness and maintenance draught beer lines, taps, and faucets at Pepin Distributing Company On-Premise Accounts. The Line Technician must utilize strong communication, attention to detail, effective problem-solving skills, and build relationships with current and new accounts.

DAY-TO-DAY OPERATIONS
- Responsible cleaning lines in assigned accounts.
- Responsible for all assigned materials including hand trucks, 5-gallon cleaning kettles, and all line cleaning supplies.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and maintenance.
- Report directly to Draught Manager.
- May be called upon to work special events or other duties upon the discretion of manager.
- Adhere to all policies in Pepin Distributing Company Employee Handbook.
- Take the initiative to build a positive relationship with all retail customers and exceed their sales and service expectations.
- A quality control notice is to be initialed and dated every time the lines are cleared at any given location.
- Maintain a rotation schedule for this service on a maximum of a 14-day cycle. Responsible for checking rotation at each account and any out-of-code risky product is to be brought to the attention of the Market Manager in that area.
- Responsible for changing empty kegs and replacing with full kegs to maintain draught service.
- Become familiar with all Pepin Distributing Company and Anheuser-Busch quality control standards.
- Communicate with Market Managers and Account Managers on competition activity and tap changes.
- Maintain route book of territory.
- Daily posting of activity completed, and lines cleaned.
- Attend and actively participate in all General Sales Meetings and On-Premise Meetings.
- This is a labor-intensive position that requires lifting, loading, pushing, and pulling cases and kegs weighing up to 165 lbs. in accounts.
- Consistently bend, reach, and squat while moving and stocking products.
- Ability to operate a pallet jack, dolly, and six-wheeler cart.
- Continuous standing and walking, up to 8 hours at a time.
- Talk, hear, and see (including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus).
- Exposure to indoor and outdoor weather conditions including high and low temperatures, wind, ice, humidity, rain, fog, hail, and sleet.
- Daylight, twilight, evening, and dark lighting conditions.
- Noise, vibration, dust, dirt, airborne particles, fumes.
- 100% on-site at the Distribution Center and at customer accounts.
- Wear the required Pepin Distributing Company uniform, steel toed shoes, safety glasses (all of which will be clean and in good state).
