What are the responsibilities and job description for the Editor - Medical position at PEPID?
PEPID, a leading innovator in clinical decision support since 1994, is growing fast and looking for a detail-driven Medical Editor to help shape the future of point-of-care medical content. You’ll work alongside a team of healthcare professionals and national medical associations to craft and update evidence-based resources that clinicians rely on every day.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Identify new literature to develop evidence-based disease, condition, treatment algorithm, and flow chart monographs for electronic medical information
· Audit and review existing scientific literature as reference for editing disease and disorder content with evidence-based information for medical informatics applications
· Provide quality assurance and reviews on existing and new medical content to ensure the highest level of accuracy and updated information
· Create and collaborate on new digital content from inception to publication
· Review and update existing digital content as necessary to reflect current medical practice and incorporate current guidelines
· Act as a professional ambassador to professional medical associations
· Organize complex clinical and scientific results, data, and literature to generate and develop concise integrated content to be used by healthcare professionals at the point-of-care
Qualifications:
· Advanced professional degrees including M.D., D.O., MBBS, CHB, or related field
o Licensure is encouraged but not a requirement.
· Detail-oriented medical writing, copyediting, and proofreading skills
· Ability to communicate and work effectively in coordinating peer review
· Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
· Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
· Must be a motivated self-starter with demonstrated ability to consistently meet deadlines
· Must be proficient with the English language
· Must be eligible to work in US
