- JOB SUMMARY:
- We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assembler to join our production team. The Assembler will be responsible for assembling components and products according to specifications, ensuring quality standards, and meeting production deadlines. A good job for someone who wants to be in assembler and/or is bi-lingual.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assemble parts using hand tools, power tools, or automated equipment.
- Assist in packaging, labeling, or shipping as required.
- Prepare and position parts for assembly, ensure each component is fastened together correctly, check connections and log any discrepancies.
- Perform a variety of tasks in production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
- Conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
- Align and fit sub and structural assemblies by installing and connecting parts, fittings, and assemblies
- Cut, trim, file, bend, and smooth parts, and verify sizes and fitting tolerances in order to ensure proper fit and clearance
- Use basic hand tools, i.e., screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, hammer, ratchets & sockets, ruler, calipers
- Perform other related duties as may be required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting, or lifting
- Occasionally required to bend, stoop, or kneel
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, occasionally assist others to lift and/or move up to 50 to 70 pounds
Experience:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly is a plus.
