- Greet guests with genuine warmth and enthusiasm, making them feel instantly welcomed
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Answer phone inquiries with professionalism and clarity, providing accurate information about services and wait times
- Coordinate with the service team to ensure smooth seating flow and timely service delivery
- Assist guests with special requests, accommodate seating preferences, and handle guest relations with tact and positivity
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring a tidy appearance at all times
- Support overall guest satisfaction by providing excellent customer service and addressing concerns promptly
Experience
- Prior experience as a host or hostess in a food service or restaurant environment is highly preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests
- Experience using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Background in hospitality or hotel guest services enhances your ability to deliver exceptional guest relations
- Demonstrated knowledge of phone etiquette and guest interaction best practices
- Previous restaurant experience involving serving or guest services is beneficial but not mandatory
