Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of production equipment, tools, and work areas in accordance with company standards.
- Execute industrial cleaning tasks that include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Ensure all sanitation practices meet food safety regulations and guidelines within the food processing environment.
- Conduct routine inspections of cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe and organized workspace.
- Assist in heavy lifting and moving of equipment as necessary to facilitate effective cleaning processes.
- Document cleaning activities as required by company policies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sanitation, janitorial services, or custodial roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices within food production or manufacturing settings is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks (up to 50 pounds) safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently during 3rd shift hours.
- A proactive approach to identifying areas that require cleaning or maintenance.
