We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr Manager of Market Research. This role will be responsible for providing critical insights to inform marketing strategies and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in consumer insights, syndicated data analysis, and consumer behavior, with a proven ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1.) Create and implement strategic learning plans to address the most critical questions for the business. Lead specific research planning and execution using expertise in a variety of research methods
2.) Develop and implement consumer research initiatives to understand customer needs, preferences, and behaviors. Utilize advanced qualitative and quantitative research tools.
3.) Provide recommendations based on market research and data to optimize brand health, marketing campaigns, product marketing, pricing, and digital marketing.
4.) Build and share compelling stories with business leaders that provide insight to how consumer behaviors are influencing the business. Serve as Voice of Customer in multifunctional teams
5.) Manage relationships with external research vendors and agencies. Oversee the design and execution of research projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
6.) Synthesize complex data from multiple sources to generate actionable insights. Present findings to senior leadership and cross-functional teams in a clear and concise manner.
7.) Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in market research and consumer insights. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance research methodologies and tools.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Business, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
* 7 years of experience in market research, consumer insights, brand, marketing strategy or a related field.
* Experience building holistic learning plans that integrate data, trends, and primary research
* Strong consumer data skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
* Proficiency in market research tools and software (e.g., Qualtrics, Decipher, SPSS, SAS etc).
* Experience working with market share and consumer offtake data (internal POS, syndicated data from NielsenIQ, Circana).
