What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inspector position at Peoria Production Shop?
Job Title: INSPECTOR

Description: Performs inspections of products packaged in the packaging area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspect all cases in assigned packing area, following the pre-close process.
- Inspect product after packed into cases.
- Perform case audits and turn in at the end of the shift.
- Check product coming from the tables, watching for multiples and close units.
- Record errors on the error sheet.
- Use EWM monitor, as needed, to help investigate errors.
- Effectively communicate errors with the individual that makes the error and their supervisor.
- Observe packing tables to make sure processes are being done correctly.
- Other duties as assigned.
Strength/Physical Demands:
- Stand on your feet for 8 hours or more.
- Ability to stand, bend and lift.
- May lift or move 10 pounds with occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.
Work Conditions:
- Fast-paced work environment.
- Willing to work 40 hours per week.
- Work with limited supervision and follow detailed instructions.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Good documentation skills.
- Ability to communicate both written and orally.
Education/Experience
- Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
- High school diploma or GED.
