Medical Office Receptionist
The responsibilities of a Medical Office Receptionist will include, but not be limited to, the following:
· Welcoming patients and visitors and answering inquiries
· Communicating effectively with other members of the front office team and additional departments within the practice
· Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information (Electronic Health Record and Practice Management System).
· Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
· Data entry including patient demographics, financial and HIPAA policies, health insurance information, and patient payments
· Accurately scheduling appointments using created frameworks that optimize patient satisfaction and provider productivity
· Collect and record patient co-pays, deductibles, coinsurances, and pre-payments
· Maintains business office inventory and equipment by checking stock and anticipating needed supplies
· Coordinates and routes incoming hearing aids for repair and processing
· Maintains operations by following policies and procedures
· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.50 - $15.50 per hour
Expected hours: 38 per week
