PeopleTec is currently seeking a Avenger Modification and Fielding Support Specialist to support our Huntsville, Al location.
Performs duties associated with Avenger Maintenance support. Duties will require an understanding of the operation of hardware and system software components of the Avenger Weapon System (AWS). Duties will include maintenance, system implementation planning, system startup, remedial maintenance, system maintenance upgrades, modifications and reporting. Possess the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex AWS maintenance issues. Provide support on Systems and Subsystems for services, maintenance, training, test, troubleshooting, operation, and repair on AWS. Other duties will include the following: - Malfunction diagnosis on ADA Systems to include missile and armament subsystems on-site and at field locations. - Perform services, maintenance, and repair on electronic and mechanical systems, pneumatic equipment, and test equipment. - Provide on-site range and firing support during missile and armament live fire exercises. This includes logistics, training, testing, and repair support. - Perform other duties as assigned applicable to the duties associated with this position.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Certification as a 94T Avenger Technician.
- Travel: 33%
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma - Minimum of 5 to 10 Years experience in performing maintenance on Avenger Weapon Systems
- Associate's Degree or higher can be used in lieu of a minimum of 5 years experience.
Physical Job Requirements:
- Mounting and dismounting on Avenger Weapon Systems
