Responsibilities
PeopleTec is currently seeking a Summer Intern to support our Huntsville, Alabama location.
The PeopleTec Summer Hire Program is designed to offer professional growth and development opportunities as well as introduce you to the various aspects of our business. As an intern, you will work side by side with employee-owners at all levels of the organization. The selected candidate(s) will be encouraged to ask questions and offer a fresh perspective on challenges facing different areas while gaining exposure to real projects. While working with corporate colleagues, you will gain industry and organizational knowledge through daily business interactions and job assignments.
Opportunities are available in various areas of our business and across departments. Each intern will be paired with a mentor during the summer program to gain real world experience working with corporate, government customers and colleagues in their related field. Interns will work together on weekly projects to expand their network and show their skills and creativity.
Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience:
- Ability to work up to 32 hours per week
- Current student in good standing at a high school, college or university
- Possess strong desire to gain further understanding of government contracting
- Willing to adhere to the dress requirements based on the area where you are working
- Demonstrates effective communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to successfully work on a team
- Possess strong analytical skills and ability to interpret requirements
- Travel: 0 %
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
Education Requirements:
- Pursing a High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University
