Scope of Position
The Associate Brand Manager (ABM) plays a key role in driving the success of leading over-the-counter (OTC) healthcare brands within the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector. Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager, this position is responsible for turning data-driven insights into actionable marketing strategies and executing tactics that strengthen category leadership and brand equity.
Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Business Insights
- Analyze and publish regular reports on retail and household panel data to evaluate business performance using both custom and syndicated sources.
- Conduct weekly retail and monthly syndicated data analyses (e.g., IRI / Circana, Household Panel).
- Review and interpret retailer card data (e.g., Walmart, Walgreens, CVS) to identify business opportunities.
- Monitor consumer care trends through quarterly analysis of customer inquiries.
- Support ad hoc data requests as needed.
E-Commerce & Digital Marketing
- Manage e-commerce marketing initiatives across major retail platforms (Amazon, Walmart.com, Target.com, and others).
- Oversee digital shelf management, including creative assets, copy optimization, and compliance with retailer requirements.
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop and refine search strategies.
- Lead social media and website content management to ensure consistent brand voice and visual identity.
- Partner with agencies to execute content strategy, monthly social media planning, and engagement tracking.
- Manage quarterly e-newsletters and CRM database updates.
Consumer Engagement & Promotions
- Oversee the execution of large-scale consumer sampling events, from creative briefing to logistics and performance evaluation.
- Manage consumer promotions and coupon programs across platforms such as Quotient, Ibotta, and Catalina.
- Coordinate creative materials for retailer needs, trade promotions, and e-commerce campaigns.
- Support the development and execution of influencer partnerships, including creative briefs, approvals, and posting coordination.
- Participate in consumer and medical sampling events (2–3 annually).
Budget & Forecasting
- Develop and maintain bottom-up forecasts for sampling events, social media, and coupon initiatives.
- Track and report against marketing budgets throughout the year.
- Partner with global and regional teams on reporting and shared learning between U.S. and Canadian markets.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in OTC Health, Beauty, or Wellness categories, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with FDA OTC Monograph regulations preferred.
- Experience with syndicated data sources such as IRI (Circana) or Nielsen is highly desirable.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience with digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and e-commerce platforms.
Additional Details
- Individual contributor role.
- Position requires approximately 15% travel.
- Full-time, on-site position (Monday–Friday).
- Must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Work is performed in an office environment with moderate noise levels.
