We are seeking an experienced Interior Architect / Interior Designer with a strong commercial tenant improvement (TI) background to support ongoing commercial projects. This position is ideal for a highly skilled, detail-oriented professional who can independently produce construction documents, coordinate with consultants, and assist with project execution from field verification through permitting and construction.
This is primarily a remote position with occasional daytime site meetings and in-office coordination as needed.

This position is ideal for a highly skilled, detail-oriented professional who can independently produce construction documents, coordinate with consultants, and assist with project execution from field verification through permitting and construction.
This is primarily a remote position with occasional daytime site meetings and in-office coordination as needed.
Position Type
- Part-time or Full Time
- Approximately 25–40 hours per week

- Flexible schedule within project deadlines
- Produce complete Construction Document (CD) packages for commercial tenant improvement projects
- Develop floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, details, and finish plans
- Perform field measurements and existing conditions verification
- Coordinate drawings with MEP, structural, and other consultants
- Assist with permitting and plan check corrections
- Coordinate with contractors and respond to RFIs as needed
- Attend project meetings, site visits, and coordination meetings during standard business hours
- Ensure drawings comply with applicable building codes and ADA requirements
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
- Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial architecture or interior design
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD 2022 or newer
- Strong experience producing complete commercial TI construction document sets
- Extensive field measuring and site verification experience
- Commercial project experience in office, retail, hospitality, medical, or similar environments
- Strong understanding of construction detailing and commercial building systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of Revit
- Experience coordinating with consultants and permitting agencies
- Knowledge of California building codes and ADA compliance
- Experience with Bluebeam, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- NCIDQ certification or architectural licensure is a plus
- Must be available for site meetings and coordination during standard business hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Candidate should be located within reasonable driving distance for occasional project site visits and meetings
- Competitive hourly compensation based on experience
- Typical range: $45–$75 per hour
