Direct Hire Customer Service/Purchasing Support Details:
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm
Pay Rate: $23/hr.
- Prepare PO reports and shipping reports.
- Confirm and input orders.
- Communicate with vendors and customers to discuss discrepancies and other pertinent issues.
- Provide support and assistance to fellow team members and departments as needed to meet company and team goals.
- Confirm inventory and production schedules with vendors.
- Perform post-submission activity for timely and accurate follow-up.
- Act as a primary customer resource for calls, emails, and voicemails when a Sales Team member is out of the office.
Direct Hire Customer Service/Purchasing Support Requirements:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as training or procedure manuals and employee handbooks.
- Proven writing skills, incorporating grammar, tone, and content that exemplify professional, exceptional customer service.
- Ability to efficiently organize and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good grammar, voice, and diction.
- Computer proficiency and keyboarding skills, including familiarity with Word and Excel.
- Excellent customer service skills — friendly, courteous, and helpful.
