HOW YOU'LL HELP DRIVE THE FUTURE OF NATURAL GAS:
- Generates financial results by modeling project inputs into all PGS business financial models. This requires coordination between Engineering, Sales & Marketing, and Business Development to ensure accurate financial modeling.
- Assist with maintaining and enhancing PGS's financial assumptions/processes and the deployment of models.
- Gathers and maintains needed sources of information necessary to support modeling, analysis, Sales, and decision-making activities.
- Prepare charts, graphs, presentations, and summaries as needed in support of project feasibilities and strategic business objectives.
- Assists with ad-hoc strategic analysis as needed.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Currently enrolled in your 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of an undergraduate program, or a graduate program, at an ABET-accredited university or college.
- Maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- Must be part of your university's co-op program to qualify as a co-op student.
- Excel basics (use of formulas, formatting)
- Knowledge of PowerPoint required
- Business Analytics or Finance field of study
WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITVE EDGE:
- Local to Tampa, FL
- Prior Intern/Co-Op with Peoples Gas
- Advanced Excel (indexing, arrays, Pivot tables) a plus
- Knowledge of Organization and Process Improvement preferred
- Familiarity with Power BI and MySQL a plus
