Custodian

Job Overview

The Custodian will be an individual with skills to undertake, upkeep, and maintain the cleanliness of Peoples Church buildings/facilities – this includes Fresno Christian Schools. We will rely on the person in this position to use their God-given talents to keep our buildings in tight and clean order by prioritizing projects in coordination with the Pastor and others as directed.Duties

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

Perform industrial cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.

• Buff and polish floors to maintain their appearance and durability.
• Conduct custodial duties in both commercial and residential settings, ensuring all areas are clean and well-maintained.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts effectively.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards while performing cleaning duties.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

• Must agree to uphold and support the missions, vision, and strategy of the Church
• Must have a philosophy of ministry that is consistent with the Lead Pastor, Elders, Scripture, Mission and Vision
• Must be an example of Servant-Leadership to those inside and outside the Church
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years of custodial experience.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.

• Friday 3:30PM - 12:00AM
