PeopleReady Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced carpenter to support on commercial installation projects. The work will be performed primarily from scaffolding approximately five floors high, fastening materials to a vertical wall.
Responsibilities:
- Install approximately 9,500 sq. ft. of 4' x 8' polycarbonate panels and Growtex felt.
- Measure, cut, align, and securely fasten materials to vertical wall surfaces.
- Operate a pneumatic staple gun and drill/driver.
- Safely work from scaffolding at heights of approximately five floors.
- Lift and maneuver materials weighing 50 lbs.
- Follow project specifications, safety procedures, and instructions from site supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Experienced carpenter with commercial construction experience.
- Previous experience installing panels, wall materials, sheathing, or similar products preferred.
- Comfortable working from elevated scaffolding.
- Ability to accurately measure and cut materials.
- Ability to lift and handle 50 lbs.
- Experience using hand and power tools, including drills/drivers and circular saws.
- SST Card REQUIRED.
- Tools of the trade to include: Circular saw, Pneumatic staple gun, Tape measure, Drill/driver
