Carpenter

As Carpenter with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you'll support carpenter contractors throughout Lakeland, FL and surrounding areas. Hours: Monday - Friday

Work with metal and wood framing and paneling

Use hand or electric tools to cut, fabricate, and install framework 

Read and understand blueprints and drawings

Be confident in framing, measuring, trim work, and finishing work

Drywall installation, finish, repair, and texture

Installation of door trim, baseboards, crown molding, cabinets, fixtures, etc.

Be at least 18 years of age
Ability to read a tape measure, may have to lift up to 50 lbs, use of power drills and tools, self motivator, work part of a team, minimum 5 years verifiable experience.
Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
Prior experience in the commercial and residential field required
Possess tools of the trade
Position may require a drug screen
