We are seeking an experienced and motivated Working Carpentry Foreman to join our team and play a key role in completing a new hotel construction project. This position is ideal for a leader with strong carpentry skills who thrives in a hands-on role, managing a team of carpenters while ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of carpenters to complete punch list items and other job site-related projects.
- Act as a working foreman, actively performing carpentry and site logistical tasks while overseeing the team.
- Review and execute job site needs in collaboration with superintendents and other foremen.
- Make decisions related to the performance of work, ensuring quality control and adherence to project standards.
- Possess and demonstrate the skills necessary to complete carpentry work, including framing, finishing, and detailed craftsmanship.
- Supervise and mentor trade employees, providing guidance and feedback to enhance their performance and development.
- Proven experience as a carpenter, with a minimum of 5 years in the trade and 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
- Ability to lead and develop a team while working collaboratively with other site leaders.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with a focus on quality control.
- Experience in commercial construction, with a preference for large-scale or hospitality-related projects.
