As an experienced Welding Fitter and MIG Welder with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you'll support shop/production welding in the Arlington, TN area. In this production welding and fitting role, you'll earn "up to" $26/hour, enjoy weekly pay, and health insurance benefits.
1st Shift is 6 am - 5:30 pm M-Th Fri 6 am - 2:30 pm Sat 6 am - 12 pm
2nd shift is 5:30pm-5:00am M-Th Fri 2:30pm-6:00pm Sat 12pm-6:00pm

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Lay out, measure, and mark metal parts for cutting and welding
- Assemble and fit metal components and parts according to specifications
- Weld various materials using MIG welding techniques
- Perform shop work including welding items such as stair rails, handrails, and some pipe welding
- Ensure accuracy and quality in all welding and fitting tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Be at least 18 years of age
Have 5 years of experience with MIG welding and fitting minimum
Need to read prints to assemble structural steel beams, columns, and other structural product types from various detail pieces
Use of tape measures, squares, and other hand tools as well as tack welding is required
Railing assembly, multi-pass stack
This job requires the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. periodically
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Proficiency in welding stair rails, handrails, and pipes
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
All required personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn
Ability to pass fillet welding test
