PeopleReady Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced Fiber Technician/Electrician for a project involving fiber installation and structured cabling. This is a great opportunity for candidates with hands-on experience in fiber handling, cable management, and electrical support.Job Responsibilities:Conduct thorough inspection and cleaning of fiber cables to ensure optimal performanceApply proper labeling to both ends of cables using a flag labeler in accordance with the provided labeling schemaInstall pre-terminated fiber cables following the cabling matrix and specificationsUtilize existing pathways, including overhead ladder racks and cable trays, to route and support cablingSecure, manage, and organize cables to maintain high standards of quality, safety, and system reliabilityPosition offers multiple shifts: 1st Shift (9am), Evening Shift (5pm) and Overnight (9pm) Requirements:Experience with fiber optics or low-voltage cabling (electrical experience a plus)Ability to follow installation diagrams and labeling standardsStrong attention to detail and cable management practicesAbility to work safely and efficiently in active jobsite environmentsReliable transportation and consistent attendanceWhy Work With PeopleReady Skilled Trades?Weekly payOpportunities for long-term or recurring workSupportive team committed to helping skilled tradespeople growReady to get started? This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
