This role is vital to maintaining the health and well-being of our community by ensuring efficient and effective waste management.
In the Sanitation Worker role, you will be responsible for collecting and transporting garbage, recyclables, and yard waste to designated disposal sites, operating equipment safely and efficiently, and following established routes and schedules.
Sanitation Worker Job Summary:
- 5:30am – 2pm hours may vary depending on each day's route
- Overtime required as needed
- Temp to hire
- $19.15/hr to start
- Collect and transport garbage, recyclables, and yard waste
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow established routes and schedules for collection
- Ensure proper disposal of waste materials
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the collection vehicle and equipment
- Communicate effectively with team members and the publis
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects
- Strong attention to detail
