We're looking for a Marketing Specialist to join the Marketing & Business Development team of a
globally respected intellectual property law firm that works with some of the most recognized
brands in the world.
This role sits at the intersection of marketing, business development, design, reporting, and
communications. It's a role for someone who enjoys creating polished presentations, supporting proposals, producing insightful reports, and helping a high-performing team execute at a consistently high
standard.
Because of that, we're looking for someone who is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and
capable of taking ownership without needing constant direction.
What This Role Actually Looks Like:
This is not a traditional social media marketing role. And it's not purely a design role either.
It's a hands-on marketing position that blends:

· Reporting and analytics
· CRM and business development support
· Content and communications support
· Event and marketing coordination

You'll be the person helping transform information into polished, client-ready materials while ensuring the firm's marketing and business development efforts run smoothly behind the scenes.
A large portion of the role focuses on presentations, proposals, reporting, and maintaining the professional standards that the firm is known for.
Some of the Things You'll Be Doing
Creating Presentations & Marketing Materials
- Developing client-facing presentations, pitch decks, sponsorship materials, and attorney speaking presentations
- Building branded templates and marketing collateral
- Ensuring materials are visually polished, professionally formatted, and aligned with brand standards
- Helping translate complex information into materials that are clear, engaging, and easy to understand
Supporting Business Development
- Assisting with proposals, pitches, and client development initiatives
- Supporting research and competitive intelligence efforts
- Helping create materials that support the firm's growth objectives
- Working closely with leadership and attorneys on high-visibility projects
Reporting, Analytics & CRM Support
- Preparing marketing and social media reports
- Maintaining CRM data and contact records
- Supporting reporting for marketing campaigns, events, and business development activities
- Helping turn data into meaningful insights and recommendations
Supporting Broader Marketing Initiatives
- Assisting with website updates and digital marketing projects
- Supporting content creation and marketing communications
- Helping coordinate events, sponsorships, and speaking engagements
- Working across teams to keep projects moving forward

You Likely Have
• 2–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, business development, marketing operations, or a related field

• Strong PowerPoint and Canva skills
• Experience supporting reporting, analytics, or CRM platforms
• Excellent written communication and proofreading skills
• Strong project management and organizational abilities
• Experience in professional services environments such as law firms, consulting firms, financial services, accounting firms, architecture firms, agencies, or other client-service businesses is highly valued.
