A well established local company in Vandalia, OH is looking to add an experienced quality technician to add to their team.

Position Details:
Responsible for conducting process, documentation and product auditing per the documented work instructions and testing procedures using various measuring instruments to assure compliance to approved specifications. If nonconformities or evidence of process deviation are discovered, the quality tech will follow the documented quarantine, hold, disposition and investigation processes.

Responsibilities and Requirements:
Review job travelers, machine conditions, and documentation to ensure compliance to process/machine specifications and 100% accurate form documentation and completion .

Inspect parts per documented specifications.

Document and report machine and process conditions found to be out of specifications.

Conduct 100% audits on mandated parts.

Enter scrap daily from every machine in production log.

Train shift personnel on part quality and documents.

Quarantine, hold, and or stop production on equipment when out of specification parts are discovered. Notify supervisor or another member of management immediately.

Assist with nonconforming material containment efforts and corrective actions.

Mark all scrap, parts, material, regrind, color with the appropriate tags

Assist with QMS administration as requested.

Qualifications: Positions requires some working knowledge of injection Molding processes and equipment.

Requires high degree of integrity and devotion to 100% QMS instructions compliance.

High School diploma

Minimum of 2 yrs proven success in a quality control or quality assurance role

Good written and communication skills.
