Job Description
We are seeking a high-caliber, execution-focused ServiceNow Product Owner to drive the multi-year optimization and expansion of our client's ServiceNow enterprise environment. With a minimum of 8 years of Product Owner experience, the ideal candidate will serve as the strategic bridge between diverse business stakeholders and their technical delivery teams. This specialized role centers heavily on the ServiceNow CRM module, driving requirement extraction, user story creation, and platform capabilities alignment as we expand their footprint into ITSM. A background in deep ServiceNow business analysis, multi-year roadmapping, and agile requirements translation is mandatory.
Core Responsibilities
- Multi-Year Roadmapping: Own, define, and architect strategic product roadmaps for complex, multi-year workstreams spanning across CRM evolution and upcoming ITSM expansions.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Requirement Extraction: Partner with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to extract, clarify, and document high-level business requirements.
- Agile Specification Translation: Translate complex business requirements into clear, precise ServiceNow-specific functional requirements, use cases, and technical delivery specs.
- Scrum Team Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with ServiceNow Developers and System Administrators to refine backlogs, map platform configurations, and ensure delivery matches business intent.
- Platform Expansion Alignment: Oversee the operational health of the existing ServiceNow CRM environment while seamlessly incorporating requirements for expanding into ITSM modules.
- End-User Advocacy: Act as the primary liaison to business users, ensuring configurations, workflows, and interfaces solve real operational friction without requiring hands-on implementation work.
This position is hybrid (1x per week onsite in Reston VA) and requires a final round onsite interview.
Required Skills
- Minimum Experience: 8 years of dedicated experience operating as a Product Owner in an enterprise Agile/Scrum environment.
- ServiceNow CRM Expertise: Extensive, deep hands-on experience utilizing and configuring the ServiceNow CRM module is highly preferred but also open to ServiceNow ITSM module if needed.
- Technical Translation Skills: Proven ability to seamlessly translate high-level business goals into rigid technical specifications for ServiceNow developers.
- Multi-Year Roadmapping: Strong visionary background with documented experience outlining and executing multi-year platform strategies.
- No Implementation Required: The role focuses purely on business analysis, requirements definition, and agile stewardship; hands-on technical ServiceNow implementation/admin experience is not required.
Salary : $75 - $80
