Job Description: Oracle Fusion Projects Functional Lead (Contract)

• Location: Remote-based but travel to Knoxville, TN (50% onsite, expenses covered) required
• Duration: September 22, 2025 – November 21, 2025 (2 months, with strong extension potential)
• Pay Range: $130 – $160/hr (C2C )
  
  

A global consulting firm is assisting one of its largest commercial clients, a national operator with more than 400 locations, in evaluating Oracle Fusion Cloud Projects. We are seeking a senior functional lead to join this high-impact consulting engagement, where your expertise will directly influence system selection and roadmap decisions.

This assignment goes beyond configuration. The consultant will run proof-of-concept demos, facilitate workshops, and present directly to executives. The focus is on demonstrating how Oracle Projects (Billing, Contracts, Costing, Revenue) integrates with Finance modules (AR, AP, Procurement, GL), while also helping shape the adoption roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Lead CRPs and demos to validate Oracle Projects functionality
• Facilitate workshops and engage directly with senior stakeholders
• Provide recommendations, pros/cons, and design options for adoption
• Inform sequencing and integration decisions as part of the broader ERP program
  
  

Qualifications

• 10 years of Oracle ERP experience with deep Oracle Projects expertise
• Demonstrated ability to deliver executive-level demos and workshops (pre-sales or solution architect experience a plus)
• Strong understanding of Oracle Projects integration with AR, AP, Procurement, and GL
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, polished and confident in front of executives
• Remote-based but need flexibility to travel ~50% to Knoxville, TN (expenses covered)
  
  

This is a concise yet strategic contract where your expertise will be fully on display. While the initial assignment runs two months, consultants who perform well are often first in line for extended project phases as the client expands their Oracle footprint.
