The duties that the incumbent of the vacancy will be expected to perform. Duties Description The Treatment Team Leader (TTL) for Region 4 Area 3 will provide administrative oversight to 3 IRA’s and one program site in Dutchess County. The IRAs include Riverview IRA, East Duncan IRA, Dover IRA, and Millbrook Program center. The TTL is essential to monitoring and providing oversight of regulatory requirements to ensure proper services are delivered and that the certification of homes is maintained. Duties shall include, but not be limited to: • Provides leadership and supervision to the interdisciplinary treatment team consisting of direct care staff and clinicians including the psychologist, dietitian, nurse, and other titles. • Monitors all budgetary concerns in the IRAs as well as the essential maintenance of records. In addition, • Is responsible for management of incidents and abuse reporting, as well as implementation of protective measures for all individuals and staff. • Ensures the State Operations Site-Specific Respiratory Protection Program is understood and followed by the employees under their supervision. • Ensues that staff perform all necessary duties as described in the job tasks and standards and ensures that the individuals' treatment plans are followed. • Acts as the primary liaison between residential, clinical, and Medicaid service.The TTL ensures that• Staff are trained and knowledgeable regarding policies and procedures. • Homes are well maintained, clean and free of hazards.• Residential Habilitation plans are implemented, and progress is monitored. • Direct Support Professionals provide the proper sup ports to the individuals at their sites. • Behavior Support Plans are implemented as written. • HCBS Waiver initiative moves forward throughout the team.• Community activities occur in accordance with mandates in terms of frequency and type and take into consideration the personal preferences of the individuals served in 4 IRA's.• Act as the primary liaison between residential, clinical, and Medicaid service.Participation of Administrator on Call (AOC) system is required. Additional comments regarding the vacancy. Additional Comments • Please note that starting salary for this title reflects the Mid-Hudson adjustment. Posted Hiring Salary includes the sum of the statutory hiring rate for M/C Grade M-1 ($93,659) and Mid-Hudson Adjustment ($2,000). Mid-Hudson Adjustment is also added to the job rate ($118,388). • If you are currently a New York State employee serving in a permanent competitive qualifying title and eligible for a transfer via Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law, you may be appointed to this title as a permanent competitive employee.• Preference will be given to OPWDD employees impacted by closures. If you are being impacted by closure, please indicate this on your resume. • All OPWDD employees must be eligible and maintain eligibility for full and unconditional participation in the Medicare and Medicaid programs. Continued employment will depend on maintaining eligibility. • If you are employed by state government you may be able to receive loan forgiveness under the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF). The PSLF Program forgives the remaining balance on Direct Loans after 120 qualifying monthly payments have been made under a qualifying repayment plan while working full-time for a qualifying employer.
