Responsibilities (including But Not Limited To)
- Maintain inventory control, sustainment, replenishment and issue of hazardous material (HAZMAT) line items.
- Provide customer service support for the HAZMAT program to include activities such as fulfilling customer requests, stowage and compatibility considerations, provide necessary documentation to support procurement, and all disposal/disposition of HAZMAT activities.
- Research and gathers all Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in support of HAZMAT program.
- Maintain and inspect all HAZMAT spaces and keep them within Navy standards for inspections.
- License to operate a forklift
- Complete and maintain HAZMAT required training through Environmental Compliance Assessment, Training and Tracking System (ECATTS).
- Minimum five years’ warehousing and inventory management experience within the Department of Defense (DoD).
- Minimum one year’s experience managing HAZMAT.
